Coming Soon!
I’ve spent the past two days in Global Reality's video production studio, working with the amazing Britt Jones on a new 28.5-minute video documentary for World Orphans that we plan to release within the next few months. I will be going back tomorrow for a third day with the hope of seeing the final edits completed. I’m loving every second of it as we put layers of new brushstrokes onto the video canvas.
Folks, if you can’t tell already, I’m really pumped. I can’t believe all the good interviews and footage we have! Britt has done an incredible job of pulling a lot of commanding audio and video pieces together to comprise a whole that is packed with emotion and power. It definitely does justice to the plight - and hope - of the orphan.

Britt - a godly man that I’m glad to call a good friend - recently joined Mike, Scott, me and some other special friends on a trip to a few countries in East Africa earlier this year. With camera in hand, and a heart for the orphan within, he captured some truly endearing moments. We also sent him to visit a few of our projects in Venezuela, Peru and the Philippines where he recorded stories and events that will cause even the hardest of hearts to crumble.
I’m humbled to see footage that I’ve personally shot included in the ensemble piece also. These additional video segments include scenes from Thailand, Cambodia, Burma (Myanmar), India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and China as well as some extra images from Kenya and the Philippines. Scott Vair, our V.P. of Projects, has also contributed some of his video from our recent visits to Moldova and Ukraine. No stock footage here. Just the real deal. What we’ve seen...you will see.
